Old Globe Open House - Sun, June 13
Celebrate the 75th anniversary of this historic landmark with performances, backstage tours, costume displays, sword-fighting demonstrations, bagpipes, Elizabethan dances. 9:30am-2:00pm at the Old Globe Theatres in Balboa Park.
Daring, Delightful, Determined Women – Sat, June 12
Experience the ”everyday joys, activities, and challenges” for women living in San Diego 1821-1872. Event includes 19th-century games and crafts, historic hairdressing, dancing, soap making, basket weaving, crocheting, lace making, garden tour, and period music. 11am-4pm at Old Town State Historic Park.

Come see kayakers, standup paddlers and rowers battles it out in San Diego’s bay waters, from Mission Bay to Coronado.

Luiseño Mission Indians Powwow – Sat, June 12 + Sun, June 13
This 14th annual intertribal powwow includes dancing, drumming, art, music, and food from many different tribes. 10am at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside.
Gourdstock – Fri, June 11 + Sat, June 12
The San Diego County Gourd Patch will offer demonstrations, classes, and gourds for sale. Once dried out, these funny shaped fruits are used as containers, decorative art pieces, musical instruments, and crafts. 11am-2pm at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center.
Guajome Music Festival – Fri, June 11 – Sun, June 13
The North San Diego County Folk Song Society hosts performances, workshops, potluck, camping (by reservation),and jam sessions. Workshops include songwriting, history of cowboy music, poetry and performance. Guajome Regional Park in Oceanside.
