OUTDOOR FILM FESTIVAL

By now, you’ve experienced (I hope) your share of outdoor movies under the stars this summer. And they keep on coming…Add a dash of culture to these al fresco films and catch the Outdoor Film Series by the San Diego Asian Film Foundation.

Held every Wednesday evening for the entire month of August, the festival includes a Bruce Lee commemoration film screening (August 4), Animation Night (August 11), Break Dance Film Night (August 18), and International Film Night (August 25). All films screen at Piazza Carmel in Carmel Valley at 8pm, entertainment starts at 7pm.

Bring out the blankets, snacks, family and friends for for this film line-up:

August 4
Kung Fu Film Night: “
Enter the Dragon,” starring Bruce Lee, to celebrate this beloved martial artist’s 70th birthday. This is the first American-produced martial arts spectacular and features a martial artist who agrees to spy on a reclusive crime lord using his invitation to a tournament there as cover.  Note: Film includes mild violence. Before the film, enjoy a Bruce Lee look-alike contest, martial arts exhibition, special games, musical performances and giveaways.
