Anyone else feel like our summer just began? Make up for lost time and squeeze in as much outdoor time as you possibly can. Here’s a good place to start - with our signature list of FREE things to do this weekend.

More than 70 dance troupes dancing to the beat of tap, flamenco, folklorico, ballet, Afro-Cuban, hip-hop and oh, so much more.

Leucadia Art Walk – Sun, Aug 29
One mile of talent on Highway 101 with art demos, live music, and mixed media. 10am-5pm

East Village Pre-game Block Party (next to Petco Park) – Fri, Aug 27
Join this 21+ crowd for this FREE party along J Street, between 7th and 9th avenues. 4:30-7:30p.

House of Panama (Balboa Park) – Sun, Aug 29
Native dances from regions of Panama, plus generous helpings of ethnic eats. 12pm

Lantern Festival (Hoover High School) – Fri, Aug 27-Sun, Aug 29
The Little Saigon Foundation hosts the first ever Lantern Festival, with 6,000 lanterns, a  martial arts competition, lion dance, latern parades, multicultural food. Almost free – $3/adults.

Stagecoach Days (Old Town San Diego) – Sat, Aug 28
Relive the history of horses, wagons and stagecoaches of the Old West. Activities and demos 12-4pm.

La Jolla Concerts by the Sea (La Jolla Cove) – Sun, Aug 29
Seaside views and tunes at Scripps Park overlooking La Jolla Cove.

Ocean Beach Summerfest – Sat, Aug 28
Fun festival under the sun in one of San Diego’s most laid-back beach towns. 10am-6pm.
